It's OK to grieve, you have lost the most precious thing you could imagine. Don't feel ashamed to cry, just because you don't have anything to "show" for your loss, it happened and it is real to you. As a mother, your protective instinct for your child kicks in the moment you know you are pregnant, it is only natural to feel defeated and like you have failed them. I would encourage you, somehow, to find a way to say goodbye, not to the memory of your child and what could have been, but release the love that is in your heart, to be sent with that child
